Earlier this week, I experienced my first live NHL game (Blackhawks vs Senators).
What an epic experience. Seriously.
Seats were phenemonal. View was phenomenal.. Lets just leave it at phenemonal, period.
I took a gigantor amount of photographs. Even if it was basically all of one player (guess who!).
Don't judge me. Fanatic fan mode was on serious, full affect.
And the best part is, I wasn't even supposed to go! Heeeey.
To my dear friend who goes by the name of Showtime, I feel bad that you were unable to.
(But secretly, I am not, because I am now a changed person. Sort of. Kind of. Yes.)
In conclusion, this is what I learned:
The television does not do any justice. At all. Like, AT all. Everything is so much better in person. Especially when you see the big players exert their intense aggression right in front of you. Like, erm, when they body check. Or even better, are about to fight. Come on, that really is a great part of hockey.
Right? Really quite excellent.
And that is all.
