in that instant, it started to pour

My friends and I went camping for the weekend for my friend's beeday. Camping always means fun times.
I really enjoy it. Especially the smell of campfire that resonates in your clothing when you come back home. THE BEST!
We made yummy food (refer to photograph). We endured a downpour of rain. We even watched the Korea vs. Uruguay game.
I just didn't really take a lot of photos. Oops.
But, I suspect that there will be multiple camping trips this summer. Whooweeee.

happy beeday, happy one year, happy anni, and all that good stuff

Its officially been one year since I've started this good ol' thang.
Happy Birthday blog-of-mine.
Initially, I started this blog as a travel diary for when my family and I went to Korea for the summer. (Wow, so different).
But also because I wanted to be able to have something to look back on. And to see how things change.
Today... this blog has become a place where I can basically share anything I want.
My interests, experiences, inspirations. And other mildly exciting things.
I'm so glad I started it. Its been fun and... liberating in ways.

This past weekend marked the start of The 2010 Fifa World Cup!
It was fun. I love when the World Cup comes around. The intense patriotism comes out.
(YES. To Korea winning the first game!)
This World Cup being in South Africa makes me wish I was still there to experience how crazy it must be there.



Have you guys seen this? I love this commercial.

Now lets all unite and talk about what a freaking smokeshow Cristiano Ronaldo is. Damn.
I'm joking. GO KOREAAAA.

and if you don't know by now, i'm talkin' bout chi-town

Yes. The Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup this year!
I wanted them to win, mainly because.. of Jonathan Toews. (I really like him).
But.. oh yeah, they're a good team too. Well obviously. They won.

So my cousin from Seoul is visiting Toronto for the week.
Her arrival has forced me to explore Toronto as her guide.
I realized I am a horrible (horrible) tour guide.
I also realized that yes, Toronto may be boring at times.
But I also realized that its actually really quite nice if you seek that out.
I actually love Toronto, despite what I may say sometimes.
