its true, baby i'm howlin' for you

Tidbits from Emily Current's home.
I'd like to "borrow" a few things from her place, jeez.
One day, I will have a giant wall completely plastered with framed goodies.
Its going to happen.
For, like, ever.

Oh man, I want one of those badboys framed also.

PS. Its officially the start of summasummasumma time.
Humidity level is intense (already).
Flippiefloppies and sandals are ready to be worn down.
High doses of ice, icecream, and frozen yogurt are being consumed.
And Toronto's stench of wonderful filth and activity is peeking here, there, everywhere.
(The same smell and feeling that reminds me of London in the summertime).

Goodbye May. Hello June. AAAAH.

don't you cherish me to sleep

Bon Iverrrrrrr.
Guess who got tickets to the show in August?
I am so superdupertruperfuperjuper stoked!

PS. I got my wisdom tooth taken out today. One of the most terrifying experiences to date.
(Yes, I'm a big baby, shut up!)
I very, very, very much dislike going to the dentists.

but all of that's what the point is not

Out of all the gigs I've been to, there was something different about this one.
I've been patiently waiting to see this band for a good, I don't know, more-than-few LONG years.
And. It was worth the wait.

Seriously, so good. Sooooo good to my heart.
And it was Leo & Esther O's first time at a concert. Great pick.

Arctic Monkeys, you did not dissapoint. Friends forever.

even let ya hold the remote control

Last, last weekend with Rudy & Esther L.
Brunch. Tea. Shopping.
Parousing downtown.

A great day, indeedie.

floating in the vacuum with no purpose, not a one

Listening to this band always brings me back to a car ride in Korea two summers ago.
I was sitting in the back with my sister; we had just picked her up from the airport as she was meeting us there from the UK.
She had just seen them live at a small gig in London. And was gushing to me about their voices.

A good daydream.

lamplight makes the shadows play, and posters take the walls away

Does this not look like thee most badass library ever?
EVER?
This is probably what the library in Tron City would like look. (Hehe).
If I'm ever in Mexico City, I'm going there for shizz.

PS. If you like reading or if you like libraries... or if you like seeing copious amounts of books, then you'll enjoy this blog.
I enjoy it too.

and the drinks have been drunk, and the ships have been sunk.

Whooo hooo its Saturday!
The weather all week was pretty nice and then all of a sudden: BLAM.
Rain for the whole weekend. Sucky news. Buzz killlller.

Anyway. I leave you with some of my latest equipment.

Boooo to rain.

she was a band-aid. all she did was love your band. and you used her.

"I always tell the girls, never take it seriously.
If you never take it seriously, you never get hurt.
If you never get hurt, you always have fun.
And if you ever get lonely, you can just go to the record store and visit your friends."

(Kate Hudson is the best).

its a fraction of the whole

PB & J.
Peter, Bjorn & John.
Or you know, peanut butter & jellie.

Whichever you choose, both are a pretty good combo.
(Lately, the AM breakfast-in-office choice happens to be PB & J).

PS. A little update. I participated in my friend Jeana's church's Amazing Race event.
(Have you watched the show?)
And it was intense. Super intense. Like really super duper intense.
But guess what? We won.
My body is still recovering. But. WE WON. EXCLAMATION MARK x 100!

but my heart, it don't beat, it don't beat the way it used to.

Gorgeous, gorgeous photos by acido (click to see more of her flickr).
Especially love that wall of frames.

we were never meant for do or die

We finally watched Water For Elephants!
This one was dear to me as I loved the book.

And doesn't hurt that Mr. Pattz starred in it. He did look pretty damn handsome, if I do say so myself.
I wish I could ride an elephant and do flips and tricks on it. That'd be nice.

Oh, and 1930's style was prrrretty wicked.
