so weird.
i can't believe i forgot to post about this. legitimately weirded out that i forgot to post about it.

i went to ottawa (again) for a work trip.
whilst there, i got to stay with my cousin and cousin-in-law emily + alex.
i love these two. they're so fun. and so in love! and their little one, matteo. (whom i also really love. really, really).
he's going to grow up to be a straight up heartbreaker. i know it.

we got indian take out, went vintage shopping, grabbed cupcakes, and did some market browsing.
personally, that pretty much equates to a good time.
throw some fam jam time in there and you've got yourself a pretty (darn) happy lindsay.

ice-age heat wave, can't complain.

me & leo's birthday meal.
us and a few friends went to queen west for some dinner & drinks.
nothing too crazy (like previous years), which is exactly what we wanted.
something chill and fun for our big two four.
we love our friends a lot. a lot, a lot.

our real birthday is this weekend.
we'll be at a church retreat. but before that, comes a much anticipated gig.
and our big sister's arrival! yay.

my goodness, i've had this constant headache since the weekend. it won't go away.
and i am at a loss as to why. its a super duper killjoy to my week.

anyway, while opening that last photo there, something occurred to me.
i need to go apple picking this year. need. to. definitely.

i caught a sunset view from my balcony this week.
seems like i can't find a spare minute to catch these things anymore.
and... sunsets are one of my most fave things, as cliche as that sounds.

let me tell you, this season is going to be a busy one.

and while we're on the topic of london... my sister is coming for a visit from there in a couple of weeks.
just in time for my brother + her + my birthday. i am stoked. i miss her terribly.

so this weekend. is over. weekends always feel way too short.
we celebrated michelle, one of my oldest and dearest friend's birthday.
fun, but kinda sucky as my phone (and hers) got stolen. sigh, i hate teefs.

summer is leaving us.
i saw somebody rocking a winter toque the other day. and esther o. busted out her scarf today.
in other words, its getting cold my friends.
but thats okay, because autumn is my fave.

Esther L went on a trip to Cali and came back with a lil' summin' summin' for me.
She knows me too well. Pretty packaged things makes me (so) happy.
So pretty in fact, that I refrain from opening. And eating. I understand that I do have to go in for the kill soon times.
