stuck in reverse

i know i always tend to post random stuff like this.
but i can't help it. i'm a sucker for cuteness.

i love it. whoo. (i don't drink coffee (it makes me sick), only tea. so this is extra special).

hows your holidays going? my week off has been great.
going to bed at ridiculous hours everyday. and sleeping in until ridiculous hours everyday.
and definitely, consuming ridiculous amounts of food, drink, and sweets. everyday.
every. single. day... i have felt that "oh no, you had a couple bites too much" feeling.
bad, but so good.

everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe help to make the season bright

our big christmas family dins.

complete with a whole assortment of different kinds of yummies.
resulted with a lovely, huge, case of food coma.
i napped for like 5 hours after. i guess that isn't really considered a nap.
but a legit sleep.

anyways. its the holidays. i have been napping everyday.
and it has been wicked!
a good few days off does the mind and body good. indeed.

although its been said many times, many ways

minus the older sister. (she is in UK for this year's holidays *insert sad face*)
it was a cute and lovely time. as per usual.

so. i bought new knitting needles.
and got some new yarn.
i'm excited about this.
it was fun trying to decide in the sea of selection at the yarn store.

as i have all of next week off.

oh, and obviously am looking forward to Christmas!
hasn't really hit me yet though.
however. i'm about onethingaway from being done with my gift shopping.

i took friday off to hang out with my lovely michelle lee visiting from the uk!
we basically took an afternoon stroll around what seems like all of downtown toronto.
talking. laughing. catching up.
that was nice.

we also checked out the brand spanking newly renovated maple leaf gardens.
which is now a gigantor grocery (and much more) store.
if i lived in that area, it'd be game over.
i (really) enjoy the act of grocery shopping. and stuff.

ps. i'm so behind on christmas gift purchasing.
im half procrastinating due to fear of the infested mall.
slash half using the excuse that i need to concoct the perfect gift plan for each person.
basically, i've got nothing and i am royally screwed. whoo!

there was a day last week where i was feeling overtly domestic.
so i decided to not only make my dad and i dinner, but also dessert.
and... lunch for the next day.

but on the reals, those naan pizzas were actually super.
yum yum.

ps. not feeling too stellar today. yesterday was kind of a sucky day also.
.. i think (scratch that, i know) i'm getting sick again. not cool.
